Exporting Glossy Art Paper to Peru – Shipment to Callao Port
2026-03-09

In March this year, we received an inquiry through our website from a Peruvian company that supplies paper to several commercial printing houses in Lima.

The client introduced their business in the first email:

“We are a printing material distributor located in Lima. We import coated art paper regularly for brochures and advertising catalogs. Please quote 150gsm glossy art paper CIF Callao.”

After reviewing the request, we replied with a detailed quotation including the following specifications:

  • Product: Glossy Coated Art Paper

  • Weight: 150gsm

  • Size: 700x1000mm sheets

  • Packing: palletized export packing

The client also asked several technical questions regarding printing compatibility.

During a WhatsApp conversation, the buyer asked:

“Is your coated paper suitable for offset printing machines like Heidelberg?”

We confirmed that the paper is widely used in offset printing and provided technical data including brightness level and coating smoothness.

After two rounds of price negotiation, the buyer decided to place a trial order of one 20ft container.

Shipment Details

  • Port of loading: Qingdao Port

  • Destination port: Callao Port, Peru

  • Container: 20ft

  • Quantity: approximately 13 tons of coated paper sheets

Production was completed within 10 days after receiving the 30% deposit.

Once the container was loaded at Qingdao Port, we sent the client the following documents:

  • Bill of Lading copy

  • Packing list

  • Commercial invoice

Transit time from Qingdao to Callao was about 32 days.

After the shipment arrived, the client shared feedback:

“The paper surface is very smooth and works well for full-color catalog printing.”

Two months later, the client placed another order for 200gsm art paper.
