Earlier this year, we received an inquiry from a trading company located in Santiago, Chile. The client found our website while searching for A4 copy paper suppliers in China.

The first email from the client was very straightforward:

“We import A4 copy paper regularly for our distribution network in Chile. Please quote CIF San Antonio for 80gsm paper.”

After receiving the inquiry, we sent a detailed quotation including the paper specifications and packaging information. The product specifications included:

• 80gsm A4 copy paper

• Brightness 102–104%

• 5 reams per carton

• Moisture-proof export packing

The client also asked about the loading capacity of a 20ft container. We explained that normally one container can load around 1560 cartons depending on pallet requirements.

The shipment was arranged from Qingdao Port, which is one of the major export ports in northern China. Once production was completed, the container was loaded and sealed under our quality inspection process.

• Destination: San Antonio Port, Chile

• Transit time: approximately 30–35 days

Payment terms were agreed as 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment.

After the cargo arrived in Chile, the client informed us that the paper performed very well in office printers and copiers. The product was later distributed to office supply retailers in Santiago.
